Jon Stewart recently joked: "there's nothing the administration can do that is not ironic." I was thinking I would like to see a list of all the ironic things we've seen under this administration. Here's a start:

1. Randall L. Tobias: took an anti-prostitution loyalty oath and encouraged sexual abstinence for HIV prevention; was found to have been a regular customer of an escort service
2. Mark Foley: introduced the "Child Modeling Exploitation prevention Act of 2002"; sexually harassed minors in the congressional page program
3. Ted Haggard: once said that "we don't have to debate about what we should think about homosexual activity. It’s written in the Bible"; was discovered to enjoy gay prostitutes and methamphetamine
4. David Hager: a conversative Christian gynecologist appointed to the Advisory Committee for Reproductive Health Drugs who urged his female patients to pray for relief from medical conditions and can't even recognize a vagina:

Sex was always a source of conflict in the marriage. Though it wasn't emotionally satisfying for her, Davis says she soon learned that sex could "buy" peace with Hager after a long day of arguing, or insure his forgiveness after she spent too much money. "Sex was coinage; it was a commodity," she said. Sometimes Hager would blithely shift from vaginal to anal sex. Davis protested.
